Get Out the Vote
My latest Get Out the Vote creation has a grid design in the background that is made to look like an abstract American Flag.
For 2022, I wanted to incorporate my paint pulling into my design for the Get Out the Vote campaign. I continued to use the No Reason typeface I designed, this time with an echo effect to emphasize the importance of letting one’s voice be heard through voting.
In 2020, I partnered with several clients to help encourage people to vote. Clients included NYC Votes, Art on Link, Puma NYC, Culture Surge, and AIGA. I also used my No Reason typeface in these designs, as well as symbols and imagery I drew myself and photo textures that I created. The design I made for NYC Votes X Art on Link was chosen to be featured on video kiosks throughout NYC for a week in October. It was also one of four designs chosen to be sold at the Puma NYC flagship store with proceeds benefitting Urban Word NYC, which promotes activism and civic engagement through the arts.
